A knight who was once one of the scions of a noble house. After years of fighting aberrations and horrors on the edges of the world, they became obsessed with the idea of consuming such monsters in order to gain their strength and relentlessness - literally.

They don't remember what happened after they descended fully into madness, but they emerged from the darkness forever changed after their consciousness returned to them. Now seeking to right whatever sins they committed during the blank period in their memory, Birchfell hunts and devours the horrors of the dark - and haunts the monsters of the world that wear much more conventional skins.

A self-proclaimed monster and predator, Birchfell is strangely eloquent and pleasant for a six-foot-and-counting steel-plated monstrosity. They take constant delight in reminding others of just exactly what they're dealing with, though, and make no secrets of the fact that they're unstoppable by most conventional means.
